WHEN ADELE said she was packing her bags and moving to Los Angeles she really meant it.
Now she has parted ways with one of her main British bases by selling her beach-side home in Brighton.
I’ve learned Adele has flogged her three-bedroom townhouse for £2.85million — making a £350,000 profit in the process.
And it’s not just the house Adele and her partner SIMON KONECKI has bid an emotional goodbye too.
By leaving Brighton, she has also said farewell to her celeb neighbours DAVID WALLIAMS, ZOE BALL and husband FATBOY SLIM, who live next door.
A source said: “Adele spent a lot of time in Brighton with Simon and their son but she’s moving on.

“She has fallen in love with LA and will be spending a lot more of her time out in the States.
“She still has a number of properties in London so she will always have a home in England.”
Adele bought the house, which has a massive open-plan lounge and a huge dressing room, in 2015 for £2.5million.
The sale went through last month to the owner of an online fashion store, who will be hoping she left a couple of signed CDs behind.
The cockney superstar’s new pad in the Hollywood hills is a massive upgrade on the Brighton home.
The mansion, which set her back £6million, has a swimming pool, an outdoor train set and a tree house for her kid Angelo.
And she hasn’t exactly been keeping quiet about her plans to flee the UK.
I told how last week how the singer boasted to fans about her new life after making the jump across the pond.
She said: “I’m officially half a resident of LA. Half LA; half London.
“I’m in America for eight months.
"I’m on tour and then I’m going to have Christmas in America.
"I haven’t done that before, I’m really excited.”
