Towie’s Billie Faiers teases Strictly Come Dancing announcement

When host Eamonn Holmes asked if she had any more TV work lined up, Billie replied: "As it stands no, but hopefully I won’t be disappearing any time soon."

Her cryptic reply led the Irishman to ask: "Dancing by any chance?"

Billie replied: "I don’t know. I would like to be."

While the star remained tight lipped about her chances of being on the BBC One dancing show, she did confess she would rather don sequins than head into the I'm a Celebrity jungle and eat critters like her best friend Ferne McCann.

She said: "I take my hats off to anyone who does that, don’t think I could, it would be amazing though."

As for Celebrity Big Brother, which currently stars her former cast mate Lewis Bloor, Billie admitted she couldn't follow in his or her sister Sam's footsteps and enter the famous house.

She said: "I think I’d find that really hard, this series in particular I think I would struggle to be in that house and stay sane."

However Billie, who has two-year-old daughter Nelly, thinks Lewis, 26, is doing really well on the current series, despite his steamy on-screen antics with Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson.

She added: "I’ve known him for years. The way he comes across is exactly how I know him.

"Sometimes the way he talks about stuff is a bit cringe but that's just him."

Earlier in her interview, Billie revealed how she had decided now was the right time to move on, despite being one of the few remaining original cast members on the ITVBe show.

She said: "I feel like for me, Nelly’s two now she’s at that toddler stage, it’s come to a natural end.

"I do plan to have more children, need to start planning my wedding.  I have to keep my wedding a bit more private."

After her final episode aired on Wednesday night, Billie took to Twitter, writing: "Aww my last #TOWIE episode with my little lady.

“What an amazing 12 series I’ve had, going to miss everyone."

However the blonde beauty hasn't ruled out returning to the show in the future, telling Eamonn and Ruth: "It is quite emotional watching it back over the years, it’s a huge part of my life. It always will be.

"It is a massive risk leaving the show but I feel like for me unless I do it now and leave on a high I think I would end up fizzling out. It’s the end of an era.

"I’ll never say I’m never going back but for now, it is."
