Who is Katie Amess?
Katie Amess is a 36-year-old English actress and model.
She was born and grew up in Basildon, Essex, til she was 11-years-old.
She then moved near to Southend-on-Sea in connection with her father's work.
She is the second eldest daughter of Conservative MP for Southend Sir David Amess who was stabbed to death in a knife attack at a constituency surgery on October 15.
In 2008 she won Miss Essex and was a finalist for the Miss England competition.
She went on to study drama at Queen Mary University of London and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
The actress currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
