V Festival fans blast Justin Bieber for miming during his headlining set
Pop star was the closing act of first night of annual festival but left many fans underwhelmed
JUSTIN Bieber has been blasted by V Festival fans for miming during his headline set.
The Canadian closed the first night of the annual event in Essex on Saturday but a number of audience members were quick to take to social media to criticise his performance.
One attendee wrote: "Gutted! I love love love Justin Bieber but tonight at V he was miming, Not cool" while another simply wrote: "Justin Bieber you miming p****. #vfest".
The 22-year-old took to the stage in a mustard yellow, blue and white striped hooded top and jeans, and while he performed a number of choreographed routines, his lack of live vocals upset many Beliebers who had shelled out to see him.
One wrote: "Nah @justinbieber is miming at V Fest. I ain’t paid £80 for a ticket to his tour to listen to his CD and see him run around the stage."
Another made reference to how much the star will have earnred from agreeing to headline V Festival, writing: "@justinbieber; miming at V fest, nice one. You’re getting paid enough at least sing live pal #VFestival #vfest".

During his set, the star opened up about how he was feeling homesick, having been on tour and away from his loved one for the last few weeks.
Leading into his hit song Company, he said: "I’ve been on tour a long time now – away from my friends and family.
“It gets tough sometimes… You just need Company.”
But fans had little sympathy for the star, as they continued to be up in arms about his performance.
One wrote: "Justin #bieber is now miming live on stage at #VFestival. Like watching a dummy lip syncing I should think. Oh, wait…" while another added: "Imagine going from a 9 to a 5 from shaving your head then miming along to your own songs????? @justinbieber."
Another disgruntled attendee posted: "I didn’t sign up for a miming Justin Bieber lmao wtf".
