Snoop Dogg confesses he is a big Great British Bake Off fan and dreams of landing a cooking lesson with Mary Berry

Weed-smoking aficionado is looking for tips to improve his brownie baking skills

SNOOP Dogg has always been one for surprises - and now he has revealed his secret love for Mary Berry and The Great British Bake off.

Rapper Snoop, 44, has never been shy about his love for smoking marijuana, and frequently updates his Snapchat feeds with tales from his life on the road while high.

But now he's set to become a different kind of wake-and-baker and is hoping to get tips from loveable Mary.

He told  that the Great British Bake Off was "one of the best shows on TV" and that he is drawing inspiration from the show for his upcoming cooking series with Martha Stewart.

The star said: "The guy is cool but it's all about my home girl Mary. You know she is the boss."

He added: "You know, I've been known to do a little baking in my time.

"I guess you could say my speciality was brownies- just maybe not the kind Mary Berry is used to."

Meanwhile, Mary and co-host Paul Hollywood have been preparing for the newest series of The Great British Bake Off.

The feisty yet lovable duo, who have remained a constant on the show since it's start in 2010, have promised that this season will be full of the double entendres and innuendo we've come to know and love.

The Sun revealed that 81-year-old Mary was the first to set the tone with a saucy note about a contestants baking.

Paul Hollywood, 50, said: “We started the first challenge and the first thing out of Mary’s mouth was a ‘nice crack’ and that set the tone really. It was hilarious.”

He also previously revealed that he had his partner-in-crime ARRESTED for scrawling an autograph on his Aston Martin.

They will be joined once again by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc who will be hosting the event.

The Great British Bake Off returns on Wednesday on BBC One.
