Show insider teases 'huge climax' to on-going storyline
AS Patrick Blake’s body is at last discovered, could his killer granddaughter Nico Bradley be about to get her comeuppance or could a Hollyoaks shock plot twist determine otherwise?
A new picture show Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) comforting her daughter at Dee Valley police station after being informed that Patrick’s body has been recovered.
While there are tears aplenty, unknown to Sienna, Nico (Persephone Swales-Dawson) was the one who murdered him.
The former Hollyoaks High headmaster had been plotting to frame wife Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) for his death after asking her to help him commit euthanasia.
However he had a change of heart after realising that Maxine loved him.
This didn’t sit well with Nico, who had been in on his plans and instead decided to finish off the job herself.
Upcoming scenes which will air as part of Hollyoaks’s Point Of View Week, will show a flashback of Nancy and Darren Osborne burying his body and planting a strand of hair in his hand from a brush in Maxine’s flat.
Viewers will have to wait and see which woman the hair belongs to – Sienna, Nico, or Maxine.
A show insider tease: “The climax of this storyline is going to be huge.
“The fact Nancy and Darren planted someone’s hair on Patrick’s body before they buried him is a huge twist.
“They know that Maxine is innocent but their meddling could seal her fate. Sienna has no idea her daughter murdered her dad.”
They added to the Daily Star: “She has spent all these months trying to get the truth out of Maxine, convinced she murdered him. Nothing can prepare her for the truth.”
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6:30pm with a first-look on E4 at 7pm.
