Has Kendall Jenner gone under the knife? Inside Kardashian star’s face transformation over the years
FOR years, Kendall Jenner has refuted claims she went under the knife - previously branding rumours “crazy” and something that “doesn’t even make sense”.
But now the model and reality star, 25, has been pictured emerging from a popular plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills wearing a full face mask.
The photos, which were exclusively obtained by The Sun, showed Kendall staring at the ground and avoiding camera lenses as she left the practice.
It’s not yet clear whether the KUWTK star has had any work done but the clinic offers numerous surgical options including rhinoplasties and implants and non-surgical treatments like injectables.
Sister Kourtney has previously promoted their #Diamond InstaFacial, which combines laser treatments, plasma lifting, microneedling and an ionised collagen mask.
According to the on Kourtney's site, Poosh, the procedure helps to combat wrinkles, fine lines, acne, scarring and more.
Now a plastic surgeon has revealed more about what Kendall may have been up to inside the LA clinic.
Alice Henshaw, owner of , claims Kendall was wearing a “biocellulose mask”, which is “widely used for anti-aging benefits”.
“It is also a very convenient way to cover any lip filler swelling or bruising immediately after lip filler injectables.
“Often my clients will don a mask post injectable treatments.
"Plus, the additional face mask over her mouth has obviously become normal practice since the pandemic."
Alice believes that Kendall hasn't undergone reconstructive surgery but may have had preventative procedures.
She said: “A large portion of my clients are models and this industry more than any feel the pressure to remain youthful and beautiful.
“It is therefore in my opinion that this naturally beautiful model has had preventative botox, lip filler and skin rejuvenation treatments.”
The Sun has approached Kendall Jenner's representatives for comment.
Kendall has denied having work done in the past - but as fans speculate what her mask may be hiding, we look at the reality star’s changing appearance since she burst onto our screens.
Acne battle ‘ruined self-esteem’
Kendall was only 11 years old when she first appeared on TV during the first season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007.
Like many teens, the reality star struggled when her skin “started breaking out” with acne from age of 14 to 18 and later it came back in her twenties.
“It was a really rough thing to deal with and not have any friends or siblings that dealt with the same thing,” Kendall told in 2019.
“When [my acne] came back… it brought all of these emotions back and I thought, ‘Oh my god, I forgot what it felt like to have to go through this.’”
Kendall explained that she “wouldn’t even look at people” without covering her face with her hand and “felt like such an outcast”.
“Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it, it completely ruined my self-esteem,” she wrote in a 2015 blog post.
‘The Most Upsetting Rumour’
In 2017, Kendall shut down rumours about her having plastic surgery and fans' claims that she had gone "too far" with lip fillers.
It followed pictures of her sporting a plumper pout on Instagram and speculation from fans that she had “her lips done” and undergone “full facial reconstruction”.
Kendall said: “I was like, ‘This is CRAZY!’... I didn’t even address it at the time because if I address it people are going to be like, ‘Oh, so she’s defending herself - she must be guilty.’”
Speculation about her lips started in 2011 when fans commented that they looked bigger than they had in previous years.
Kendall set the record straight in a 2017 blog post titled ‘The Most Upsetting Rumour’, she argued that going under the knife wouldn’t help her career.
“As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn’t even make sense,” Kendall wrote.
Fans also questioned whether she had done something to her eyes and forehead after they noticed her eyebrows were higher-up on her face.
After an appearance on the red carpet in 2018, fans speculated about her having lip fillers again and criticised her acne on Twitter.
"Never let that s**t stop you!", Kendall replied to the acne remarks. She did not respond to comments about fillers.
Boob & nose op claims
Kendall was also alleged to have had surgery when side-by-side photos from 2019 and 2020 emerged.
She refused to comment on the claims she had breast augumentation but previously described herself as a “little twiggy girl” compared to her sisters who “are a lot curvier”.
“They have boobs and I don’t have boobs,” she told in 2019.
“Growing up… I saw my sisters and always thought, ‘Oh no, am I supposed to be more sexy like them?’”
Dr Alessi, of the Alessi Institutes and Face Forward Foundation, claimed Kendall may have had a nose job too.
"The lower lateral cartilage outline in the tip can be seen clearly and appears to have been reduced," he told this year.
"The nasal bridge appears to be smaller, this is more than one would expect with just makeup and smiling.”
Keeping up with the family?
Kendall’s not the only member of the family to be linked to cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.
Kylie previously denied having breast implants and a nose job but was open about having lip fillers due to “insecurities” about their size.
In one episode of KUWTK, she revealed she felt “unkissable” after “one of [her] first kisses” because the unnamed man told her: “You have such small lips.”
Kim’s also admitted to using fillers and botox on her face and it’s rumoured she’s had a lot more done, which she has denied.
