The A-list pair are partnered this time in modern day Los Angeles, where their aspirations, hopes and dreams are played out in this musical comedy from the director of hit movie Whiplash.

Playing the parts of frustrated actress and cocky jazz musician, the sparks fly and build on previous on-screen romances in Crazy, Stupid, Love and Gangster Squad.

Primarily a love story, this film will tug at the heartstrings of most hardfaced viewer.

Stone plays aspiring actress Mia, who spends her days serving coffee to movie stars, whilst daydreaming of her big break.

Meanwhile Gosling stars as talented jazz musician Sebastian, who plays in dingy clubs and downtrodden cocktail bars, getting more and more frustrated with his lot.
