Troubled Katie Price hit with repossession order for £1.35million ‘haunted’ mansion
TROUBLED Katie Price has been hit with a repossession order for the £1.35million home she believes is haunted.
Sources say she has failed to repay a debt of more than £500,000 on the property — dubbed the Mucky Mansion.
And Katie, 43, who was declared bankrupt in 2019, faces losing the house if she cannot stump up the cash to pay off her debtors before a repossession hearing.
The model and TV star admitted to once calling in an exorcist when she heard ghost noises in the 11-bed timber-framed Sussex house after moving there in 2014.
A Land Registry search for the property reveals owner Katie owes money to both Kensington Mortgage Company and solicitor Archerfield Partners LLP.
A source said last night: “Katie has failed to pay back the money she owes and her mortgage company had no option but to issue this order.
“She was due to appear at a repossession hearing this week, but it will now most likely be rescheduled for a date in January.
“This is a new low for Katie in what has been a difficult year.”
The mum of five, who is engaged to Carl Woods, 31, was admitted to rehab in September after pleading guilty to drink-driving while disqualified.
She was spared an immediate jail term despite flipping her BMW after a booze and drugs bender.
But she could still face jail when sentenced on December 15.
A spokesperson for Katie said: “Her house is not being repossessed”.
However, Katie‘s defence solicitor Joe Harrington confirmed that her house “may be repossessed” as she is in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings.
