‘BRITTERS TOTES COPYING!’ Catherine Tydlesley jokes that Britney Spears stole her album cover look
The Corrie babe posted a snap to Instagram showing the comparison
SHE’S about to give her a run for her money in the charts, but Catherine Tyldesley doesn’t seem too worried about taking on Britney Spears.
Because the Coronation Street babe has noticed a similarity between the two, particularly when it comes to their cover artwork.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share a split image of her on the cover of her new single and the pop princess on the cover of hers.
And the similarity is uncanny as she captioned it: “Britters totes copying my album cover.”
Catherine’s image adorns the cover of her debut single Rise, which was released last week.
And Britney’s is the reported cover of her next single taken from her latest and ninth studio album Glory, called Just Luv Me.
Catherine, 32, is best known for her role as Eva Price in the ITV soap but signed a record deal in June having always had a passion for singing since she was a young girl.
Speaking on Loose Women last week, she said: “The single is out today, it’s called Rise, and then I’ve got an album coming out in November.
“I’ve always sang since I was a kid. I used to sing in-between acting work. You know what I thought, ‘I’m really missing this’. It’s so lovely.”

And she helped launch her chart career by lining up two headlining gigs in London and Manchester.
The 32-year-old will perform at a gig at cabaret Brasserie Zedel in London on Saturday September 3rd and then at the Lowry in Manchester in December, both times with a swing band called Top Cats.
She announced both gigs on her Twitter page and said she was “beyond excited”.
Catherine is also hoping to duet with with X Factor winner and her Corrie co-star Shayne Ward, who plays her on-screen boyfriend Aidan Connor.
Shayne, who won the ITV show in 2005, sang at Catherine’s wedding when she married personal trainer Tom Pitfield with whom she has a one-year-old son called Alfie.
