Marnie Simpson gushes that Lewis Bloor is ‘The One’ but it’s not enough to stop CBB showmance rumours
Telly addicts took to Twitter after the pretty brunette came fourth and noted the pair had a tiff on the spin off show
LOVESTRUCK Celebrity Big Brother babe Marnie Simpson has declared ex housemate Lewis Bloor is "100% THE ONE" - yet fans remain unconvinced by their raunchy relationship.
The Geordie Shore beauty - who hooked up with the ex Towie star in the Channel 5 bungalow - seemed truly smitten as she chatted to host Emma Willis during her exit interview.
Yet things seemed to take a turn for the worse after fans spotted them in what seemed to be a heated argument throughout the CBB spin-off show, hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal.
Lewis then remained stony-faced as the cheeky Northern lass also revealed she had the hots for Grant while in the bungalow.
The gorgeous brunette, who was wearing a printed see-through bodysuit for the last eviction night, sped over to Lewis to give him a quick smooch before getting stuck into her exit chat.
Host Emma gushed about their in-house hook-up and said: "I want this to be real and true, you do seem sweet together."
After being quizzed about whether the hottie was "the one" she replied: "Yes. 100 per cent."
Getting a little embarrassed about the relationship chat she then added: "I think we should go on holiday."
Viewers often witnessed the cute couple getting saucy on the communal sofas as well as taking their racy antics into the store cupboard.
This week, after Lewis had been evicted, Marnie was treated to a phone call from her reality show man who said he missed her so much he "felt sick."
He said: "Lewis told her: “I miss you, I feel sick! I can’t wait to see ya! I love you so much!”
Meanwhile on Twitter, fans were quick to show their scepticism.
One wrote: "Lewis and Marnie are still keeping up the showmance nonsense. Do they not realise nobody thinks its real?" while another added: "Are Lewis and Marnie for real? Calling one another "the one" after four weeks.
"They're like children that have never been in love."
It could have been their raised eyebrows were warranted.
One telly fan noted the pair seemed to be locking horns throughout the extra show, with Lewis even seeming "angry" when Marnie got up to dance.
After Rylan quizzed them about their love, they noted the Essex lad was wildly shaking his head as if to put her off answering.
Another perplexed fan added: "Supposedly Lewis hasn't been able to sleep because he was excited to see Marnie tonight... OR he was out on the bang. Who knows."
One even gave their love a time limit and posted: "I'll give Marnie & Lewis until the end of the month," to which another telly addict added: "That long?"
In a rather cutting comment, one fan compared their reality show romance to that of Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell and wrote: "Marnie and Lewis will only end up like Stephanie and Jeremy."
The pair starred in last year's series but after hooking up endured a rollercoaster relationship filled with cheating rumours and allegations of violence, with the saga rumbling on as the ex Hollyoaks star claims the Mr Ireland finalist is the father to her first child.
This week, Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan also cast scorn on their supposed love in her .
The former Nolan singer wrote: "Marnie and Lewis' relationship is, for me at least, a total showmance.
"I suspect they're both hoping for magazine deals about their 'relationship' and are already planning the next story - the break up.
"And that girl is not shy. Even her own poor mum is used to watching Marnie's x rated antics."
Meanwhile Lewis hasn't shied away from declaring his feelings.
While in the Diary Room he told Big Brother about his plans for their future and said: “I’m so in love with her man, it’s a joke, like.
“If we can get through this together then we can do anything with our lives together, I really believe in us, I really believe in her as a person.
“I know where my heart is at.”
