Big Brother stars reveal truth behind CBB ‘fix’ claims

FORMER Big Brother stars Andy West and Nikki Grahame have dismissed suggestions that the show is in any way fake.

The show was hit by the accusations of staging segments after last night’s live feed revealed Ricky Norwood congratulating fellow finalists on filming a “great take” – before all live audio was suddenly cut from the broadcast.

The reality TV faves discussed the subject during The Sun Online’s exclusive Facebook Live party this evening.

Taking over hosting duties, Andy asked Nikki: “There’s a story today about a scandal that has been in the papers, something that went out on the live feed last night during Celebrity Big Brother.

"A lot of fans are desperate to know, is Celebrity Big Brother scripted, is it directed, or is it real?”

Without hesitating, the brunette replied: “100% that is not a scripted show.

Agreeing, Andy said: “No”.

Nikki continued: “As if they’d give me the script for what I came out with! No, it’s not scripted at all.

“I wasn’t actually aware of what happened last night, I was told about it and I’d read a bit about it today, but it’s absolutely not like that.”

During the shocking scenes, which aired around midnight, Big Brother was heard wishing all housemates a goodnight as the bedroom lights went out.

The voiceover: “This is Big Brother: Finalists, goodnight.”

As the housemates all shouted goodnight in reply and appeared to go to sleep, the lights suddenly came back on with further instruction.

Bouncing back out of bed, Ricky said: “Great take guys, great take.”

The finalists then proceeded to laugh while getting up.

Big Brother’s voiceover then announced further information for the celebrities.

All audio was abruptly cut as eagle eyed viewers slammed the show on social media.

Venting their frustration, one CBB fan wrote: “When it comes down to it no part of the show should be scripted at all, that’s not the point of the show. It’s totally lost purpose.”

Another tweeted ranted: “As if big brother has been outed as being scripted / fake, I’m so sad :(“
