YOUNG kids have been barred by a West End theatre from a stage version of Disney’s Frozen.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane has set a six-plus age recommendation for the two-hour musical.

Under-fours will not be admitted to the show despite it being inspired by Disney’s kids’ film

Under-fours will not be admitted to the show despite it being inspired by Disney’s kids’ film.

By way of explanation, the venue states: “To help us make sure everyone enjoys the show, your little ones need to be able to sit in their own seat without any assistance.”

The theatre, however, highlights the film on its website and says its version has all the original’s “cherished songs”.

It says: “Prepare to fall in love with Disney’s FROZEN all over again.

“Incredible special effects, stunning costumes and jaw-dropping scenery bring Elsa and Anna’s journey to life in a whole new way.”
