X Factor favourites Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie ALREADY dating after meeting at auditions
The lovebirds have gone public with their relationship by posting cute pictures on Instagram
TWO of this year's highest-rated X Factor hopefuls are now dating after meeting at the auditions - which could get awkward quickly if they both make it through to this year's live shows.
The Sun can exclusively confirm that Emily Middlemas, 17, and Ryan Lawrie, 20, got closer during the bootcamp stage of this year's series and have been dating ever since.
Emily has now made the relationship public with a series of cute Instagram snaps.
A source said: “The pair individually are up there as the favourites to go on and win the show.
“They didn’t go on the show looking for love but it seems to have blossomed.
“All the signs are looking really good for them to progress really well on the show.”
While the pair are yet to confirm that they are an item, one shot in particular shows Emily resting into Ryan in an intimate way.
Emily had previously auditioned for the show at the age of fifteen, and made it through to the judges houses with Cheryl before being turned away just before the live shows.
Maintaining her popstar dream, Emily "entranced" judge Nicole Scherzinger with her voice and was immediately put though to the live finals.
Meanwhile, Glaswegian lad Ryan was also put through to the next stage of the ITV talent show - but has been surrounded by controversy as it emerged it had already found fame elsewhere.
The 20-year-old was once signed to a record label in Scotland and had performed at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball - weeks before trying his luck on the X Factor.
His debut song even charted above Adele in 2013 - after he wrote a number in memory of a girl who had a terminal illness.
Ryan sang The Vamps' cover of Simon and Garfunkel hit Cecelia and made it through to the boot camp stage with three “yesses” as Louis praised his “good audition” and “strong voice”.
Nicole thought he was “super cute”, but Simon wasn’t keen on the performance and told him it wasn’t the best song choice.
