CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are reportedly planning to bring together the show's most popular stars from over the years for a spectacular new format next year.
Channel 5 bosses are believed to be planning to bring back Stephen Bear and place him in the house with fan favourites such as Katie Price and Les Dennis.
Bear was crowned winner of the latest series of CBB on Friday, and TV chiefs are said to be already plotting his return to the camera-filled compound.
The reports that the next series of CBB in 2017 will be be givena major twist as Gold Stars vs New Stars.
It will bring back some of the show's most notable contestants and mix them up with new additions.
CBB bosses are reportedly hoping to land deals with stars including Katie Price, Les Dennis and Pete Burns.
Other famous faces on producers' wish list are said to be Blue star Lee Ryan, Michael Barrymore, Katie Hopkins and Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty.
A source told the Daily Star: "It’s a genius idea that has never been done before.
"Channel 5 wants to do a show that gives a nod to the past but also has a fresh edge with new people too.
"The celebrities who have done the show before could repeat what they did in the house last time hoping it will curry favour with the fans but the newbies will be quick to call them out as being ‘old dogs with old tricks’."
It is believed Channel 5 chiefs are scrambling for ideas to revamp the format due to falling ratings.
The latest season of CBB was full of controversy, but the saucy antics failed to attract viewers and figures fell to a disappointing average of around 1.5 million per episode.
Many viewers were left outraged by the full-frontal nudity and scandalous behaviour of housemates including Marnie Simpson and Chloe Khan.
Campaigners called for the show to be axed due to falling standards, and some viewers even compared the series to "porn".
