Justin Timberlake joins the Black Eyed Peas – plus Nicole Scherzinger, Jessie J and Kendall Jenner – for Where Is The Love revamp
The band give their fans what they want and re-release their hit track
BLACK Eyed Peas are back!
And they are set to give their fans a REAL treat… and it’s all with a little help from their celebrity friends.
The noughties band are set to drop a new version of their 2003 track Where is the Love later today and the likes of Justin Timberlake AND Kendall Jenner are all involved.
Fergie, Will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo will be unveiling their new look video which is filmed in black and white and is in response to recent events.
Will.i.am said the move has been influenced by the terrorist attacks in Paris, Belgium and Turkey, as well as by the deaths of two young men at the hands of police officers – Philando Castile and Alton Sterling.
He said after each of these atrocities fans called on the band to get the song back out there – which was reportedly originally penned in response to the September 11 attacks.
They have enlisted the help of a few of their celebrity pals... including original collaborator and long-time friend Justin - but it doesn’t stop there.
Mary J. Blige, Nicole Scherzinger, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Diddy, DJ Khaled, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Ty Dolla $ign and The Game are just a few of the names who feature in the reboot.
Will.i.am's fellow The Voice UK mentor Jessie J also features in the song.
The original video was filmed in east LA with Will.i.Am. Taboo, Apl.de.ap and Fergie.
The band formed in 1995 and Fergie was added to the line-up in 2002.
