Gaz Beadle declares Charlotte Crosby had to leave Geordie Shore so they could finally move on
Reality star insists one of them had to quit so they could put troubled romance behind them
GAZ Beadle has declared that Charlotte Crosby had to quit Geordie Shore after their split because they just couldn't stay on the show together after the break-up.
The reality couple split earlier this year and Gaz admits his former lover had to walk away from the show in order to move on from the troubled romance, insisting "it took one of us to leave".
Gaz made the candid confession during an appearance on This Morning today, lifting the lid on his ex-girlfriend and their turbulent relationship.
He revealed the break-up was so bad, it "took one of us to leave so we could move on with our lives...
"She's left now... eventually we're both moving on to the next chapter of our lives."
The pair split shortly before Gaz headed to Thailand to film the new series of Ex On The Beach.
Charlotte said she was considering taking him back until he found out he bedded a number of girls on the show, including Jemma Lucy.
Her misery was compounded as she suffered an ectopic pregnancy while he was away, and their relationship was over for good.
Charlotte later announced she would not be returning to the show that made her famous, and Gaz is adamant her departure is for the best.
He also admitted he knew he had ruined the romance for good when he slept with another woman just a day after he landed for Ex On The Beach.
The reality regular is also convinced that they would still be together if he hadn't "messed up".
