Molly-Mae Hague returns to childhood bedroom ‘where it all began’ as she pines for Tommy Fury
MOLLY-MAE Hague returned to her childhood bedroom where her influencer career began as she pined for boyfriend Tommy Fury after going home for Christmas.
The 22-year-old is from a market town called Hitchin in North Hertfordshire, but now lives in Cheshire with the boxer, also 22.
But sadly the pair are spending the festive season apart.
While cosied up in her bed, Molly told her 6.2m followers on her Instagram Story: "I've just had the nearly four hour drive back down south, back home to my family home.
"I'm in my at home bedroom, it feels very nostalgic, very weird, this is where my journey began, Instagram, it feels so nice to be home.
"It always feels so weird being back here. It brings back so many memories."
She continued: "I always say when I'm back in this room and I post it on my Story, if you remember posts and the Instagram pics I used to take in this bedroom, then you really are a serious OG."
Before shooting to fame in 2019 on the fifth season of Love Island, Molly had a huge following on Instagram and YouTube.
The creative director of fashion brand Pretty Little Thing went on to show her fans some amazing portraits of herself and Manchester lad Tommy.
She shared a snap of her beau and captioned the post: "Could stare at that face all day."
In her recent YouTube video the Love Island star explained that it means she doesn't get to see Tommy over the Christmas period.
She told fans: "I don’t obsess over Christmas, I’m not massively into Christmas.
"Don’t get me wrong I do like it but I’m not obsessed with it.
"I think when you come from a split household Christmas is always a little bit different," she continued.
"I want to make sure that I spend the time with my family, but when my family are doing their own two different places, it’s always a little bit tricky.
"I like to see Tommy and his family at Christmas but because my family are down south, I don’t really get to do that."
Molly's mum Debbie Gordon married her long-term partner Jon Rayner in July with the reality TV star and her older sister Zoe acting as bridesmaids on the day.
Zoe, 25, serves in the military medical corps – a part of the army which is responsible for the health of serving soldiers.
Meanwhile, Molly's father Stephen Hague is happily remarried to Carla Nation-Hague.
Molly and Tommy's relationship has gone from strength to strength since they met in the iconic villa.
The two have to go for long periods of time without seeing each other and she said that she trusts beau Tommy "not to cheat".
She said on the the podcast: "We don't see each other for weeks on end at the moment," Molly-Mae explained. "We've become really good at the long distance thing, I don't know why.

"One thing that I find so key in our relationship, and it's the most important thing in any relationship, is trust. We have complete and utter trust in one another.
"He could literally go away for weeks on end and there's not a doubt in my mind that if he was to be around a load of girls, I could sleep peacefully at night knowing that he's for me and I'm for him and that's that."
