Lauren Goodger opens up on ‘stressful’ split with Charles Drury – but insists they’re ‘really good’ now
LAUREN Goodger has opened up about her brief split from Charles Drury, insisting they're "really good" now.
The couple spent time apart last month following the birth of daughter Larose but former Towie star Lauren, 35, said she and Charles needed the time apart to realised what's really important.
She said: "Listen, moving house and having a baby are very stressful things.
"Having a baby, as well as it being a beautiful and amazing thing, really does test couples.
"For Charlie, it’s a lot of change and I think he was quite overwhelmed with everything. As much as he loves me and Larose, he had to take five minutes out. "
Lauren added to that Charles "came home and wants his family".
Amid their time apart Lauren and Charles were also tested when Larose had to spend time in hospital with suspected sepsis.

Lauren said: "The tests came back and they said, 'She hasn’t got sepsis, she’s got a fever from an infection.' I was like, 'Phew!' She was on antibiotics and a drip.
"By the second and third day, she was more herself. The doctor said, 'You don’t need to panic. This is so common. Babies get ill 12 times a year.'"
Yesterday Lauren posted a gushing message to her daughter on Instagram, along with an adorable snap of her gazing down at Larose.
She said: "Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas 🎄 my baby girl @babylarose.x was spoilt rotten with lots of toys kisses and cuddles and lots of family time on her 1st Christmas.
"My little lady was my best present this year she has filled my heart with love over and over everyday 💕💕💕💕💕💕."
