DANNY Dyer looked dapper in a navy suit during the week of his wedding.

However, this was not for his own nuptials - the actor was spotted on the EastEnders set for his on-screen son's wedding to Whitney Dean.

In a test run for his own ceremony, the actor strutted his stuff in his wedding gear while puffing a cigarette.

The filming took place just two days before Danny's real life wedding yesterday in a luxury hotel near the New Forest.

And his onscreen son, Danny-Boy Hatchard, was there to support him on his big day.

The Cockney actor married long term love Jo Mas in an Eastend-Spanish themed wedding at the Chewton Glen Hotel, set in 130 acres near the New Forest.

However this practice run didn't dispel his nerves before his real big day, with the actor tweeting how he couldn't sleep the night before his big day.

The on-set snaps revealed Lee Carter's army pals will show up for his big day, which could cause some upset.

Viewers will remember the last time Lee saw his friends was before he was sacked from the army after punching his superior, he then suffered from depression after returning home. So who knows how this reunion will go.

As if that wasn't enough to contend with, evil Aunt Babe will be attending the nuptials and she will not let the day run smoothly.

It has been a bumpy road for the young couple. Sparks flew after Whitney discovered Lee had slept with Abi Branning when the couple briefly split.
