Katie Price horrified to learn she’s lost £1m as Mucky Mansion plunges in value after 3 burglaries, fly tipping & floods
KATIE Price was horrified to learn that she's lost £1million on her Mucky Mansion after it fell into disrepair and plunged in value.
The 43-year-old bought the property from former Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude in 2014 for £2m.
But since then her home has been hit with a string of bad luck, including burglaries, fly tipping and flooding.
Former glamour model Katie has landed a Channel 4 show - which starts in two weeks - that will follow her attempts to make her mansion habitable again.
In scenes for the new show Katie was left horrified to discover the value of her home had dropped by £1million, The Sun can reveal.
A source said: "Katie knew it was in a bad state, but when she found out it's now worth less than a million - half it's original value - while filming the new show, it was a real shock.
"She's going to do everything she can to get it back to it's former glory and make it worth something again. It's a real disaster for her."
Mum-of-five Katie was left devastated in 2020 when intruders ransacked the property.

They flooded the upstairs by leaving the taps running - causing thousands of pounds of damage to her newly done-up kitchen.
The trespassers also rummaged through Katie's personal boxes in the loft to see what they could find.
Last year her Mucky Mansion was targeted by thieves once again. Katie returned there to find that a haul of personal photographs had been stolen.
In 2018 part of the house was damaged by fire as her seven-year-old son Jett’s bedroom went up in flames.
The blaze, which was put out by Katie’s stepdad Paul, started in the first floor bedroom and has left the room and the hallway blackened by smoke.
Katie also told last year how fly tippers had dumped junk at the property.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Katie said: "This is my house that I don't live in at the moment because of all the fly tipping that was done.
"Everything was stolen, it was burgled twice in a row and my ceiling has collapsed where they left the tap on."

She added: "I hate it, I just hate it. It looks ransacked.
"I can't live in a place like this, this is what someone did to my house deliberately. It's so disheartening that it's like this."
