What's going on with his eyebrows?

Cold Feet fans in hysterics over James Nesbitt’s ‘painted-on’ eyebrows

Viewers adored the new series but were 'transfixed' by his character Adam's dark arches

COLD Feet fans raved over the brand new series of the show - but were left in hysterics over James Nesbitt's "painted" eyebrows.

The 51-year-old actor notably had a hair transplant alongside co-star John Thompson, 47 - though it wasn't his hair fans were fixated on.

James plays widower Adam in the ITV hit, whose wife was killed in series five in a car crash. The final episode became iconic, with devastating scenes of him scattering his wife's ashes off a cliff.

It is 13 years on since the last series of the show aired on telly, with viewers saying that his eyebrows appeared much thicker - and some even insisting that they were painted on.

One viewer remarked: "When did James Nesbitt start drawing on his eyebrows?"

Another wrote: "Some serious charcoal on #ColdFeet James Nesbitt's eyebrows... Good start to prog tho."

While others were simply distracted by the brows.

One commented: "Catching up with #ColdFeet On balance, loved it. But WTF is going on with James Nesbitt's eyebrows?"

And another wrote: "strangely transfixed by Adam's eyebrows....#ColdFeet".

The sixth series of Cold Feet aired last night after initially being announced in November last year. All the original cast returned to the new series of the drama apart from Helen Baxendale, who played Rachel.
