Ellie Goulding and ex-boyfriend Dougie Poynter leave GQ Awards together after putting on cosy display
The couple split in March after dating for two years
ELLIE Goulding and her ex-boyfriend Dougie Poynter were spotted leaving the GQ Men Of The Year Awards together last night.
The former couple – who split back in March – showed they are very much still friends as they hung out at the bash after most of the other guests had gone.
At one point the handsome McFly singer even lent in for a hug and kissed her on the cheek.
A source told The Sun Online: “Ellie and Dougie were hanging out in the ceremony area after it had finished and most people had left.
“Dougie was being very attentive and lent in to hug his ex and kiss her on the cheek before they headed towards the exit together.
“They walked separately but were very friendly and amicable with each other.”
Earlier in the evening Dougie enjoyed a giggle with Zara Martin and Sai Bennett on the red carpet.
Looking in good spirits, the handsome 28-year-old wrapped his arms around the beauties while they shared a laugh.
Ellie wasn’t quite as giggly as she made her red carpet arrival – looking utterly stunning in a sheer mini dress with feather detail.
However she was soon smiling when she sat next to her good mate Calvin Harris who she presented an award to during the bash.
The Burn singer and Dougie split in March after two years of dating.
At the time heartbroken Ellie said she would be taking a break from music but she went on to play a mammoth 100 shows across the world – which led to her exhaustion.

Speaking earlier this year Ellie hinted that she was hopeful they could work things out.
"Maybe. I hope so. We have something I know is special and I think other people see it - my friends see it, my family see it...,” she revealed.
"But I think some things are just kind of unfinished, an unfinished story. I hope so - he's a real gem and he's doing so well and he's keeping busy, as am I. I hope so, he's a great guy."
Dougie has also admitted he still loves her and hasn't ruled out a reunion, but admits he found it "hard" because they had to spend so much time apart.
He said: "We love each other very much. We are the best of friends. We hung out at Coachella, like all day, with her friends and my friends. It was really, really cool. Everything is totally fine.
"It's just both being all over the place. Like I said, we still get on really well. She's one of the most amazing people I've ever met. But just right now, it's hard. I'm single now."
