Daniel Craig reportedly offered over £110million to star as James Bond in two new movies

WHILE Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston are in the running, it's Craig that execs are really after

THERE have been plenty of rumours surrounding the new James Bond, with Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba top of the leader board for the lucky star to replace Daniel Craig.

However, despite claims the actor has opted out of starring in any future 007 movies, new reports suggest he could be making a comeback.

Executives are said to have offered the Skyfall star $150million - or over £110million - to reprise his role as the smooth Secret Service agent for two more films, which would be shot back to back.

But while Craig claimed he'd rather "slash his wrists" than continue working with the franchise, a source told Radar that he's simply playing it smart.

“The studio is desperate to secure the actor’s services while they phase in a younger long-term successor,” they told the site.

“Everyone knows how much executives adore him, and the idea of losing him at such a crucial time in the franchise isn’t an option as far as all the studio honchos are concerned.
