Westlife drop huge new single Alone Together as fans speculate Mark Feehily is Masked Singer’s Robobunny
WESTLIFE have dropped their anthemic new single Alone Together as speculation mounts that band member Mark Feehily is The Masked Singer's Robobunny.
The lads' first new music of 2022 sees them in fine form with a feel-good slice of pop topped off with a huge chorus.
Mark said: "2022 is going to be Westlife's biggest year yet and it is great to get going with the release of this new single. We're super proud of it. It has been amazing to be part of writing Alone Together and working with such distinguished music producers. The entire album has been a massive success.
"We are now getting ready for an epic show at Wembley Stadium on 6 August and then onto a huge arena tour. It has been a tough couple of years for us and other musicians with the pandemic causing us to postpone things so we're really going to make up for it on this tour.
"We're preparing something really special for fans in the UK and Ireland. The tour will be amazing and there will definitely be a few surprises for everyone."
And the dad-of-one can't wait to perform on stage for the first time in front of daughter Layla.
He continued: "It is mad to think after all these years we still have a massive fan base and we continue to sell out stadiums and arenas. We cannot wait to get on stage again.
"It'll also be the first time Layla gets to see Westlife in action. That will be a special moment."
Alone Together was co-written by the band and international music producer Rami Yacoub - who has worked with global music icons like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande - and the Grammy-nominated American songwriter Michael Pollack.
The vibrant new single will be perfect for their spectacular, sold-out, showpiece Wembley Stadium concert this summer, which has been some two years in the making.
