John Bishop shares rare picture of his wife of 30 years as he wishes her happy birthday
JOHN Bishop has marked his wife Melanie's birthday by sharing a selection of gorgeous new photographs.
Describing her as his "everything", the stand-up comic posted the lovely shots of Melanie on Instagram alongside a sweet message.
John, 55, wrote: "Nobody knows me like you.... you are everything it's that simple. Happy birthday babe xxx."
The couple live on a farm together in rural Cheshire and the collection of photographs perfectly capture their life.
Melanie is all smiles as she cuddles up to a horse in one and, in another, she can be seen holding a giant hen.
A third picture was taken as Melanie faced the sun, with her long fair hair blowing in the breeze.
And to finish things off, John threw in a classic throwback photo to their younger years.
John and Melanie's showbiz pals have been quick to comment on the Liverpudlian's touching post, with former footballer Jamie Redknapp writing: "Happy Birthday mel ❤️."
Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton posted two red emojis, while actress Martine McCutcheon name-checked her son, saying: "Happy Birthday! Same day as My little Rafferty! ❤️."
Even Hollywood pal and Friends star Courteney Cox has sent her wishes, penning: "Happy Birthday @melbish1 ❤️❤️❤️ ."
HAPPY EVER AFTER
John and Melanie tied the knot in 1993. The couple have three grown up sons together.
In 2000, John and Melanie's marriage hit the rocks and they separated for 18 months.
In an interview with in 2014, the comedian admitted that having three children close together had made them temporarily drift apart.
"For six years there was always someone in the house in nappies. Our marriage just faded," he explained.

The pair split parenting duties but, during a visit to the award-winning comedy club Frog and Bucket, Melanie watched one of John's shows.
He said: "We met up after the show and she said seeing me up there reminded her of me as I used to be. When I was a good laugh."
The spark was reignited and the couple have been together ever since.
