Little Mix snub Brits ceremony after failing to pick up the two gongs they were nominated for
LITTLE Mix snubbed the Brits ceremony tonight after failing to pick up the two gongs they were nominated for.
It was the last Brits for the group, who announced they would be going on hiatus at the end of this year.
They lost out on Best Group to Wolf Alice.
And their Heartbreak Anthem with Galantis and David Guetta was beaten by Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U as Best International Song.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 30, Perrie Edwards, 28, and Jade Thirlwall, 29, all failed to turn up.
Last year, along with Jesy Nelson, 30, who quit in 2020, they were first all-female band to win Best Group.
They said at the time: “It is not easy being a female in the UK pop industry.
“We’ve seen white male dominance, misogyny, sexism and lack of diversity.
“We’re proud of how we’ve stuck together, stood our ground and surrounded ourselves with strong women and we’re now using our voices more than ever.”
