THE X Factor is facing fresh 'fix' claims after viewers claimed the acts were not singing live on Saturday night's show.

Fans of the show took to Twitter in their droves to question whether the wannabe singing stars were miming their auditions or if their voices had been auto-tuned in post-production.

Last night's instalment of the reality show saw a number of groups sail through to Bootcamp but many viewers said their performances were too good to be true.

Many were convinced that they had pre-recorded the vocals and then lip-synced their performance for the judges.

One viewer wrote: "This is such a sham, they're all miming!"

Another wrote: "#XFactor is such a fix, Nicole going on about working on their harmonies and vocals..............They were clearly f**king miming!!"

Someone else added: "So far every act has been miming and had their voices put though voice/harmonising gizmos."

Despite many saying that boyband 5am sounded too good to be true, Nicole Scherzinger told the boys they still had a lot to work on.

She explained that singing and dancing at the same time had affected their performance and they may have to cut down on busting a move to capitalise on their vocals.

A spokesperson for The X Factor refuted the claims and told The Sun Online: "Everyone who auditions for The X Factor sings live in front of the judges and no ones vocals are autotuned."

Meanwhile, The Sun Online also revealed that 5am's Kieran Alleyne is no stranger to the spotlight having already released an album, starred in West End plays and spent years acting alongside Dani Harner on CBBC.

Before joining forces with Jordan Lee and Nathan Lewis to form boyband 5AM, Kieran’s impressive credentials matched that of many X Factor winners.
