BBC plans talent show to find NEW Spice Girls to replace Posh and Sporty for upcoming anniversary tour
Victoria Beckham and Mel C have ruled out returning to the group
EVER dreamed of being a Spice Girl? Always wanted to be Sporty or Posh?
Well now's your chance as the BBC are reportedly in talks to launch a new talent show to recruit two new members of the group to replace Mel C and Victoria Beckham.
The pair have ruled out reuniting with Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton, who recently reformed the group to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Mel B recently said she would be interested in inviting "some people up on stage with us" as the trio move forward with the iconic pop group.
However, Scary, Ginger and Baby have taken this idea one step further and have reportedly approached the BBC with their idea for a talent show where they would judge wannabes looking to join the band.
The BBC had success with similar shows like How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? And Any Dream Will Do which saw West End wannabes battle it out for the leads roles in The Sound of Music and Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Gary Barlow will also front his own show on the national broadcaster later this year where budding stage stars will audition for roles in the upcoming Take That musical.
According to the Mail on Sunday, ff it gets the green light, the Spice Girls talent search will take place over five weeks next April with the winners being chosen during a live final on BBC1.

Realising she’d had an accidental moment of honesty in front of millions of viewers, she swiftly changed her tone.
She added: “No, let me correct that — my other two fellow lovely ladies. You know, Victoria is busy with her great fashion line. Mel C is doing her own album.
