Inbetweeners star Emily Head joins Emmerdale – and is set to turn heads
Actress will play the feisty sister of Chrissie White in the ITV soap
INBETWEENERS actress Emily Head has landed a feisty new role in Emmerdale.
The 27-year-old is best known for her role as Carli D'Amato in the E4 sitcom, but on Monday it was confirmed she had signed up to play Chrissie White's sister Rebecca on the ITV soap.
Speaking of her new role, Emily said: "I am really looking forward to joining the Emmerdale cast, and so excited to be the one to put a face to the name Rebecca White.
"I can't wait to see how the village reacts to her arrival."
Ever since the White family took ownership of Home Farm, Rebecca’s name has loomed large and viewers will finally get to meet her when Emily takes to the screen in October.

But fans will have to wait and see why Rebecca has descended on the village and how her sister - played by Louise Marwood - will react to her arrival.
Pretty Rebecca is certain to destabilise Chrissie’s standing in the village and dad Lawrence will attempt to reunite the sisters. But can he?
With tensions set to rise between the Whites, series producer Iain MacLeod revealed his excitement at introducing Rebecca to the viewers.
He said: "The character of Rebecca is a brilliant addition to the village.
"She's funny, feisty and flirtatious - she might turn your fella's head but, importantly, she has a good heart.
"Emily couldn't be more perfect for this role and we're delighted to have her aboard - the chemistry between her and our regulars is already electric."
In the accompanying images released to tease her arrival, Emily can be seen walking away from a helicopter while wearing a fabulous outfit including a large purple hat, sunglasses and colourful scarf draped over her shoulder.
Another image sees the sisters come face to face, with Chrissie looking far from impressed by her siblings arrival.
