Emily Atack missed out on meeting Michael Jackson at Paul McCartney’s house

EMILY ATACK told how she once threw a strop because she missed meeting Michael Jackson when he left a dinner at Paul McCartney’s house ten minutes before she arrived.

Emily — whose grandma is Paul’s cousin — said: “I am related to Paul McCartney and once I went round there for a Sunday roast.

“He said, ‘You’ve just missed Michael Jackson. He was here ten minutes ago.

“I was furious. I was so angry and I said to my mum, ‘Why couldn’t we have got here earlier?’.

“She said, ‘You’re related to a Beatle. Isn’t that enough?’ But I was like, ‘I don’t care about that. It’s Michael Jackson’.”

Emily added: “I grew up with Les Dennis sitting in the kitchen drinking with my mum.

"Caroline Aherne, Bob Mortimer and David Walliams being there in the house swinging my brother around by his legs at a party.

“All these famous people sit around hungover in their pyjamas as well.”
