The worst celebrity neighbour rows EVER – from Holly Willoughby, the Beckhams and Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan
THEY'RE rich, famous and regularly fawned over - but living next to Britain's biggest celebs isn't always as fun as you might imagine.
Rows over noise, extravagant building plans and security issues have proven a headache for regular residents living close by to national treasures.
We take a look at the most high-profile celeb neighbour spats of recent times:
The Beckhams
David and Victoria clashed with neighbours next to their £31million London mansion in 2020.
The power couple weren't happy with the prospect of construction work noise as their neighbour set about renovating their home.
They were also worried that their neighbour's architect was creating a whole new patio area including a balcony on the first floor, which may have looked out into their back garden.
Fortunately they had a huge Cotswolds estate where they could retire to for some peace and quiet when needed.
Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan
The couple's dream Essex home is nearing completion but it hasn't been without its struggles.
The parish council previously objected to the size of the project and the height of proposed security gates and walls.
Planning documents said: "This new amended application further increases the size of the dwelling, and the Parish Council feels that these proposed changes increase the size of the dwelling over the original dwelling size to such a degree that it would, for reasons of its bulk and size, now represent an unacceptable increase and as such have a detrimental impact on the green belt."
The couple have dealt with every issue thrown at them, and eventually the plans were deemed suitable.

Holly Willoughby
The 41-year-old has had a battle on her hands over the years to turn her £3 million West London home into her dream property.
Holly managed to upset neighbours last year when she revealed plans to extend the home she shares with husband Dan Baldwin and children Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and Chester, seven.
The couple – who purchased the property in 2011 - revealed they wanted to add a first floor side and front extension to the huge six-bedroom home.
Their original plans, which included other alterations, were rejected by the local council - but they were later granted permission.
Locals were unimpressed by the TV favourite's renovations and neighbour Liliana Velez slammed the move.
She ranted: "Having the noise all week all day for so many months is not the standard of living in such an expensive area to live…
"I do not pay taxes to get this level of disruption, it is not quality of life."
Billie Faiers
Billie and husband Greg Shepherd's relations with their neighbours are so bad they are no longer on speaking terms with them – and recently spent a whopping £20k on trees to keep prying eyes away.
The Laurel trees, which cost £240 a pop, can grow between 15 and 35 feet tall, so are perfect for extra privacy.
Billie and Greg, who are parents to Nellie, seven, and four-year-old Arthur, bought the four-bedroom 1920s property in Brentwood, Essex, for £1.4 million in January 2020.
The couple had planned to transform the run-down space into their dream five bed home with an eye-watering renovation that included a two-storey extension, gym, games room and huge walk-in wardrobe.
But they were refused planning permission amid uproar from the neighbours who claimed the works were “excessive” and not in keeping with other properties on the street.
Mrs Hinch
Mrs Hinch's secret war with neighbours forced her and husband Jamie to splash out on a new secluded mansion.
The couple snapped up a five bedroom countryside farmhouse after clashing with residents on their road over privacy issues.
Explaining why the couple have now decided to move on, the mum-of-two said: "I won’t go into too much detail because I wouldn’t want to give any satisfaction to the cruel person people involved.
"But Jamie has wanted to move for a while due to the privacy issue which came about after we had extended the house but I was in such a mess because I didn’t want to move.
"I was crying to him saying this is my home, I didn’t want to lose it.
"So I promised him I could fix it hence my weird to basketball net looking trees which you may have noticed on my stories at some points.
"Also new panelled fencing with no holes and a crazy CCTV system. I really did my best behind-the-scenes guys but it wasn’t enough in the end."
Kyle Walker
Residents complained bad language regularly turned the air blue at the Manchester City defender’s mansion.
A source said: “The neighbours are so annoyed — it is a pleasant area and the language is often vulgar.”
Kyle's fiancée Annie, 29, was furious about the allegations while Kyle, 31, tried to act as peacemaker, without success.
The source added: “The neighbours are no longer speaking to them.
"They had a row with Annie because they could hear swearing and screaming coming from their garden.
"This is a nice part of the world, full of leading business executives, and they don’t expect to be subjected to such language.
The Rooneys
In 2019 neighbours of Coleen and Wayne were unhappy that their Cheshire home was bigger than they expected.
They were also worried about the impact the former Manchester United striker would have on the neighbourhood.

And they opposed supplementary plans to build a large shed to store a tractor and hay bales.
The £20m property, which the family moved into just in time for Christmas, boasts an orangery, bar, TV room, snooker room, cinema and wine cellar.
