Daisy May Cooper steps out with new man at NME Awards after dumping husband Will because she was ‘bored’ of marriage
DAISY May Cooper has gone public with her new man at the NME Awards.
The 35-year-old, who hosted the bash, split from the father of her two children Will Weston last summer after becoming “bored of married life”.
She first teased her new romance a couple of weeks ago as she shared a picture of the man alongside a love heart.
And last night they looked smitten on the red carpet as he placed a kiss on her cheek.
Daisy also shared a picture of their special moment on her Instagram, before deleting it.
A friend said: “It’s early days and Daisy is still calling him a friend.”
The Sun first revealed the This Country star had called it quits with Will amid the pressure of lockdown, just ten months after giving birth to their second child, Jack.
Daisy and Will married in September 2019 and also have daughter Pip.
She has remained close to the landscape gardener and still publically supports him.
A source said at the time: “Daisy said she had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will.
“They ended things for good earlier this year.
“She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over.
“She has also removed Will as a director on her media business.”
The Bafta award winner rose to fame as Kerry alongside brother Charlie, 32, as Kurtan, in the BBC sitcom This Country, which they wrote.
She is also a new team captain on a Sky reboot of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, with Taskmaster’s Greg Davies, 53, as host.
