Frank Lampard and wife Christine are all smiles as they’re spotted shopping in New York

The love-up couple enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the Big Apple

FRANK and Christine Lampard proved they are still very much in love, as they hit the shops in New York.

The couple, who will have been married nearly a year in December, looked every inch the happy couple as they strolled around the Big Apple.

Christine, 37, looked beautiful in a sheer black dress, which showed off her enviable figure.

She swapped her usual heels for flat sandals and finished off the outfit with a red handbag.

The former Daybreak host looked happy to be out with her hubby, who looked handsome in a blue shirt and navy shorts.

The loved-up pair moved to New York last July when the former Chelsea star joined the MLS soccer team.

They tied the knot last year at St. Paul's church in London's Knightsbridge, before enjoying a swanky reception at The Arts Club.

Speaking about the ceremony, the 38-year-old former England player described the occasion as “magical” and “perfect”.

He told the Daily Mirror: “I was very, very nervous about doing the right thing and whether I would get too emotional but I loved the service and it felt like everything that a marriage should be.'

“Everything from beginning to end was magical.

“You dream about your wedding day and have anxiety about tables and food and people, but from the moment I woke up until the end of the night, everything was perfect.”

Meanwhile The Sun recently revealed that Christine will be reuniting with her former TV pal Adrian Chiles, for the first time since ITV’s Daybreak in 2011.

The pair, who started out on BBC’s The One Show, parted ways five years ago when they were both axed from the breakfast programme.

But they will be together once again for a new series about the nature of friendship.

We were told three-part show, which is being made by BBC Northern Ireland, is in the early stages of development but is likely to air across the UK if it is a success.

A Beeb spokesman confirmed: “We’re pleased to confirm that Adrian and Christine have agreed to join forces again for a new BBC Northern Ireland production.

“While we can’t say much about this project at the moment, we’re obviously excited to have both on board.”
