Liam Payne hits the studio to work on solo music amid claims Cheryl is pregnant
The singer has been working on his hotly-anticipated solo album
LIAM Payne hit the studio last night amid growing speculation that his girlfriend Cheryl is pregnant.
The One Direction star chose not to address the claims and instead shared a picture of himself working on his solo material.
In the arty fish eye shot- which he captioned ‘Hard at work‘ - the 23-year-old can be seen sitting at a mixing table.
Back in July it was announced that Liam was the latest member of 1D to sign a solo record deal.
The news ruffled a few feathers – particularly with Simon Cowell who admitted he was annoyed that the star had signed with a rival label.
He said at the time: "It is a bit annoying if I am honest with you - mainly because it is another label who has now got your artist who you worked with for so many years.
“But that is the music business, unfortunately. I don't think anyone else from the band will do that."

Meanwhile the studio is no doubt a welcome distraction for Liam amid the discussion around his relationship with Cheryl.
Earlier this week Cheryl sparked speculation that she might expecting when she appeared with a ‘fuller’ face in her latest advert for L’Oreal.
And then sending fans into overdrive Liam changed his Twitter bio to read ‘the luckiest man in the world’.
The fan theory comes just a couple of months after The Sun exclusively revealed that Cheryl was trying for her first baby with Liam, despite going out with him for less than a year.
A member of Liam’s inner circle revealed: “It’s very serious now between Cheryl and Liam and they have been talking among close friends about starting a family.
“Cheryl is happier than she’s been since the good days of her marriage to Ashley Cole.
“She’s content and while they’re in the honeymoon period, this feels like a connection for the future.”
