Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards admits to drunk dating to help combat nerves

PERRIE Edwards has admitted to turning to booze to help combat nerves while dating.

The Little Mix babe may ooze confidence while performing on stage, but when it comes to finding love she’s surprisingly shy.

Perrie, who is believed to be dating Our Girl star Luke Pasqualino, confessed to relying on a bit of Dutch courage during a Q&A with Buzzfeed.

She said: "I drink loads on the first date! I have pre-drinks!”

As she continued to discuss dating with bandmates Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the blonde beauty added it’s “definitely not” a bad idea.

Despite appearing loved up with hunky actor Luke, we recently revealed how Perrie is set to lift the lid on her romance with Zayn Malik on Little Mix’s new album.

In an exclusive interview, bandmate Jesy told The Sun all four of them have drawn inspiration from their love life in the studio – including her pal’s famous split.

She said: “I think it’s always easier to write about your experiences through music because more people can relate to them anyway.

“It is a lot more mature, this album. There’s a lot of things that have been said that perhaps nobody has heard yet, if you know what I mean.”
