Louis Tomlinson trolled by directioners after banning ‘Larry’ from his Instagram accounts
Fans have been shipping a relationship between Louis and Harry Styles online for years - and it appears he's had enough of the rumours
LOUIS Tomlinson's desperate bid to stop fans shipping him with One Direction band mate Harry Styles has landed him in hot water after cheeky fans have found a loophole in his Larry ban.
The dad-of-one, who is currently dating American star Danielle Campbell, has been frequently shipped online with his band mate Harry in fan fiction due to their close relationship while in the band.
The star has recently made use of Instagram's latest new feature which allows comments to be filtered and removed if they contain certain words, and so set it to ensure Larry was a thing of the past.
Louis has been open for his disdain for the long-running fan theory, calling it "the biggest load of bulls**t [he's] ever heard" when replying to a fan on Twitter in 2012.
But tech-savvy directioners were quick to catch on, finding a loophole in Louis' plan and creating alternatives instead.
Some simply adopted a new way of spelling the word, such as 'L@rry' or the spaced out 'L A R R Y'.
Other's redubbed the fictional union 'Stylinson' or 'Houis', while others went back to basics with a simple 'L&H'.
After former band mate Zayn Malik quit the band back in March last year, he defended Harry and Louis' friendship, and revealed that the speculation had damaged their friendship as they became more scared of the speculation.
He told Fader magazine: "They won’t naturally go put their arm around each other because they’re conscious of this thing that’s going on, which is not even true.
"They won’t do that natural behaviour."
He also said: "There’s no secret relationships going on with any of the band members. It’s not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them."
