X Factor’s Soheila Clifford had secret record deal with Simon Cowell before show sparking fix row
X FACTOR faces fresh fix claims after its emerged contestant Soheila Clifford was once signed to Simon Cowell’s record label.
After storming through to boot camp during Saturday’s show with her rendition of Ariana Grande’s Problem, there was no mention of the 18-year-old’s previous deal with Sony as part of a girl group.
It has also been reported that the potential pop star was invited along by producers – skipping the initial pre-audition process before singing for the judges.
A source told Daily Star Sunday: “The acts that morning were asked along by producers and sailed through their auditions to Boot Camp.
“It felt like it was just a formality.”
