X FACTOR faces fresh fix claims after its emerged contestant Soheila Clifford was once signed to Simon Cowell’s record label.

It has also been reported that the potential pop star was invited along by producers – skipping the initial pre-audition process before singing for the judges.

A source told Daily Star Sunday: “The acts that morning were asked along by producers and sailed through their auditions to Boot Camp.

“It felt like it was just a formality.”

A spokesperson for the X Factor says: “Anyone can apply for X Factor irrespective of their past experience and all contestants are auditioned on merit.

As everyone didn't have time to see everyone on the road, an extra day of auditions was held at Boot Camp.”
