Viewers have slammed Sunday's Boot Camp episode after James Wilson's nerves almost got the better of him
X FACTOR faces more backlash as viewers blasted “fake and scripted” scenes during Sunday’s show.
As contestants Samantha Atkinson and Rebekah Ryan discovered their partner James Wilson had disappeared minutes before they were due to perform due to nerves – many fans of the show took to Twitter to question the dramatic scenes.

With James making it back to the Boot Camp stage at the last second, one user wrote: “More staged nonsense #xfactor.”
Another added: “I feel like this is very staged. No one would run off right before their turn. #xfactor.”
One X Factor viewer claimed: “They only created drama to promote the dude #XFactor.”

Fed up of the drama, another loyal X Factor fan said: “The way the producers create these dramatic scenarios - I just want to hear them sing tbh. #xfactor.”
Another compared the programme to a soap opera, writing: “How fake is Xfactor.. Cringe in hell its like a soap #XFactor.”
