Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael, Sarah Hyland and Mandy Moore top the worst dressed list as they attend the Emmy Awards
The actresses missed the mark as they attended the star studded bash in LA
THEY are some of the most talented stars on our TV screens but while they might be winning prizes for their acting skills – not all of them are fashion winners.
Leading the worst dressed this evening as they attended the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was Downton Abbey star Laura Carmichael.
The actress – best known for playing Lady Edith – missed the mark with a bold skirt and top ensemble.
Looking a far cry from her straight-laced character the stunning star swamped her frame in a long purple tulle skirt which she teamed with a yellow crepe top with featured a large boy around her waist.
Following closely behind was Modern Family star Sarah Hyland who picked a very interesting look.
The 25-year-old broke the mould by wearing a pair of trousers which she teamed with a Monique Lhuillier corset that featured a very long train.

The actress is however nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her role in UnREAL – so she may have more luck in that department.
