THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT

Stranger Things kids steal the show at the Emmy Awards as they hand out packed lunches to the guests

The stars of the surprise smash hit Netflix series also performed Uptown Funk at the pre-show

THEY may be the new kids on the block, but Stranger Things kids Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown stole the show at the Emmy Awards 2016 from their famous peers.

During the evening of awards, the kids paired up with host Jimmy Kimmel's mum to hand out peanut butter sandwiches to the glamorous guests - with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara more than willing to munch on the freebie food as she awaited to see if her show won best comedy series.

The trio were well-received on the red carpet before the show, with Caleb showing off a snazzy sense of style with a statement tuxedo jacket and white bow tie.

Gaten beamed his trademark grin in a three-piece tuxedo with a black and grey gingham waistcoat with matching bowtie.

Millie wore her name on her purse and slicked her short bob back in an adorable dress covered in pastel coloured birds, and blew a kiss to the crowd outside the theatre before entering the show.

Shunning the typical demure attitude of their counterparts, the trio looked to be having the time of their lives on the red carpet, and didn't hesitate to pull funny faces and mess around at the prestigious event.
