Calvin Harris on best man duty in INCREDIBLE tartan trousers

The world’s highest earning DJ headed to Dumfries for the wedding of his best friend

CALVIN Harris went full Scottish this weekend when he donned a pair of tartan trousers for his best friend's wedding.

Mark Irving, who's known Calvin since he was 16, kitted out all of his groomsmen in matching tartan trousers and ties, while Mark topped his ensemble off with a loud, tartan waistcoat.

The pictures were taken in Dumfries, where Mark was marrying his long term partner Ellie Richmond

Calvin – who is listed as the highest earning DJ in the world – posed for pictures with guests before the ceremony began and was spotted sipping champagne and mingling with his friends throughout the day.

One excited fan, Devlin Greig, took a picture with Calvin and Mark, telling her Twitter followers: "No way did we just walk into our hotel and meet @CalvinHarris and his best pal before his wedding."

Mark and Calvin have been good friends since they were teens and, earlier this year, publican Mark, 32, told the Scottish Sun the DJ was getting very worried about standing up and giving a speech.

He said: "I don’t want to hear it beforehand but he has said he’s worried about it. He’s more nervous about giving his best man speech than anything else that he’s done, I think."

Mark also admitted he’d hired two DJs to play at the reception but joked he’d be more than happy to offer up at slot to Calvin. He added: "If he really wanted to play, I’d let him."

Calvin’s played a huge part in the run up to Mark and Ellie’s wedding, organising a blow-out stag do celebration at Scottish Festival T-in-the-Park in July.

Organising a bar in the VIP area backstage for up to 50 revellers, Calvin made sure there was endless amounts of Grey Goose and tequila to get the party started.

His handiwork went down a treat and Mark later praised him for his efforts. He said: "I was bit a emotional, to be honest, when I saw he had recreated my pub, I couldn’t believe the work he had put into my stag do."
