The terrifying moment naked man threatened to KILL Towie’s Lauren Pope in a Jobcentre

LAUREN Pope has opened up about the time a man threatened to kill her when she worked in a London Jobcentre.

The former Towie star worked for them while she was 19-years-old and living in a flat share in the Forest Hill area of the city.

Lauren said: "I worked in the Jobcentre until, one day, I helped a guy fill out a form to apply for a job. He couldn't read or write, really needed help, and didn't get the job.”

In the interview in the Sunday Times, Lauren revealed the man targeted her because he blamed her for not getting the job.

Lauren, 33, added: “He thought it was my fault and came in, stripped naked, screaming 'I'm going to kill her'."

Luckily for Lauren, she was able to quit her job and move into modelling before she appeared on Towie for five years, from 2010 to 2015.

After she left, Lauren continued to build up her successful business Hair Rehab London – something she says is the reason she decided to leave the popular ITVBE show.

She said:”I've got a lot of things going on on the business side and it was getting to a point where that was getting affected as I was having to miss meetings if I was filming abroad.”

Lauren has previously spoken about how she managed to create such a successful brand, citing businessman.

She cites Dragon’s Den Star Peter Jones as the person she looks up to most – after he invested in her business after she appeared on TV show Tycoon in 2007.

Lauren said: “When it comes to business inspiration, I would have to say Peter Jones. At 27 he lost everything and started again from scratch.

“With business you will not be an instant success, if things do not go to plan you just have to pick yourself back up.”
