It’s Pastry Week on The Great British Bake Off – Here’s when to watch and what to expect
THIS week sees The Great British Bake off contestants taking to the tent to perfect their pies, tarts and pasties . . It's Pastry Week!
Pastry Week has historically been a part of the show since series one with an episode dedicated to the cause, aside from series two and three, where pastry week was replaced with 'Pie Week'.
How can I watch?
The next episode of The Great British Bake Off airs on Wednesday at 8pm on BBC ONE.
If you miss it, not to worry - the episode will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer shortly after it has aired.
Which bakers are still in the running?
Week one saw Mel and Sue say goodbye to pastor and baking enthusiast Lee Banfield during Cake Week.
In episode two, viewers witnessed hairdresser Louise Williams crumble under the pressure during Biscuit Week.
In week three we lost this year's youngest contestant, student Michael, after his Cypriot Olive loaf failed to impress the judges.
During last week's Batter Week we said goodbye to Kate, after she came seventh in the technical challenge, when Paul and Mary failed to fall in love with her heart shaped pancakes.

What can we expect from Pastry Week?
Unlike Batter Week, which made its first appearance this series - Pastry Week is an old favourite with judges Paul and Mary.
Last year's Pastry Week saw firefighter Mat crowned star baker, after wowing the judges with his Piña Colada Frangipane Tart.
The famous pastry challenge that threw last year's bakers into despair was the showstopper - vol-au-vents, a small hollow puff pastry filled a with savoury or sweet filling.
The bakers had to make 48 Vol-au-vents - two types - in three hours and forty five minutes, and Mary criticised series six winner Nadiya's bakes for having a 'soggy bottom'.
Previous Pastry Week challenges include: eclairs, suet pudding, puff pastry canapes, pies and pasties.
What happened last week?
Last week welcomed The Great British Bake Off's first ever batter week, where contestants were put through their paces to produce filled Yorkshire puddings, heart shaped lace pancakes, and churros.
Baking favourite Benjamina was named as star baker, after impressing judges with her brie and bacon yorkshire puddings, and coming first in the technical challenge.
The Bake Off family said goodbye to Kate Barmby, after she came seventh in the technical challenge.
