But Ryan has spoken about his love of being a father and recently told ES magazine that having two young girls has made him realise how females are ‘more evolved’ than the opposing gender.

He told ES Magazine: “I think women are better than men. They are stronger. More evolved. You can tell especially when you have daughters and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”

He added: “I’ve always liked women more.

“I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”

He’s also very protective of his leading ladies and speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show in spring, he said: “I take my little girl to the park, and we always write her name in chalk, and some kid has been erasing her name and writing their name over it.

"And this kid has access to an unfair amount of chalk. My little girl doesn't care; she's like, 'Well, let's just chalk anywhere else.' And I'm like, 'No! They're disrespecting your mother because she gave you this name, and they're erasing it.

“So the only way to really get back at them is to erase their name. And not disrespect their mother, but definitely put her on notice.”
