Lindsay Lohan claims she paid for OWN £220K engagement ring as she discusses troubled relationship with former fiancé
The 30-year-old made a series of claims against her ex Russian lover - all of which he has denied
LINDSAY Lohan has claimed she had to buy her own engagement because her former fiancé ‘had no money’.
The 30-year-old made the allegations about Russian toyboy Egor Tarabasov during an appearance on Russian TV’s Channel One just months after their relationship came to an end amid claims he had been abusive.
She said: “He does not have money. What could I do? We lived in my home. I paid for everything. His father paid for many things, but mainly I was paying.
“But it was mistake. I should have said to him, 'Do something, I can't do everything alone'. I'm a 30-year-old woman and I was supporting a guy who didn't work.”
According to the, the actress went on to reveal that she even paid for her £220,000 engagement ring ‘ to spare his embarrassment’.
During the interview the famous red head claimed that Egor had beaten her and alleged that he had left her with bruises – something which he vehemently denies.

She claimed: “It is the first time I am in such a relationship when I was beaten, it is painful for me. I don't want it, I am not a victim, I am a strong person.
“I should have stopped it when the first signs came. But it is very hard for me to say goodbye.
“I feel quite uncomfortable about the last few months with Egor. Would you feel normal with bruises on your legs? That was really hard for me.”
Egor has since denied her claims.
Lindsay got engaged to Egor – who is seven years younger than her - last September but just 10 months later their relationship came to shocking end after Egor was pictured grappling with Lindsay on a beach in Mykono, Greece.
The star went on to say that she feared he would throw acid in her face.
“I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face,” she said.
“I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me.
“I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, ‘He’s trying to kill me, call the police!’ I am lucky to come to Moscow to speak.”
Lindsay is thought to have been paid £650,000 by the broadcaster for the tell-all interview.
After it aired she the former child star shared a picture of herself holding hands with the interviewer and thanks the people of Russia for being so understanding.
