JEREMY Kyle has slammed "lazy and entitled" millennials in a rant about spending money they don't have.

TalkTV's popular presenter revealed his thoughts about the younger generation's mindset about working.

Jeremy told Sharon Osbourne during a debate on their show The Talk last night: "There's a feeling amid the millennials, the younger generation, that 'I deserve everything, I want everything, everyone else has got it, I'm going to do it'.

"I've got five kids and my kids, from the minute they hit 16 they have to get a job.

"That's how you teach the work ethic and the value of money."

Panellist JJ Anisiobi revealed research showing 37 per cent of people think millennials are too keen on working from home and are lazy.

It led Jeremy to rip into those not willing to work - telling them to get off their backsides.

"I also want to add about benefits, which will go down like a lead balloon," said Jezza.

"For me, the greatest invention of the modern world is the welfare state - or it was supposed to be.

"Apart from a bunch of millennials who think we owe them something, we have a generation who have a career choice.

"Go to work, go to college or go on the dole. It wasn't meant for that, was it?

"There's a lot of laziness. They need to get off their backsides and go and make a living.

"Why is it a shock that you have to go to work and not just learn how to do make-up and get a few people to like you on Twitter?

"The older generation saved before they bought something. They started at the bottom and worked their way up."
