Peter Andre reveals he’s working with pop star who lost his virginity to his ex-wife Katie Price
PETER Andre will perform at an upcoming festival alongside a fellow pop star who lost his virginity to his ex-wife Katie Price.
The Mysterious Girl singer met Katie on I'm A Celebrity in 2004 - but he wasn't the first pop singer that the former glamour model had eyes for.
Gareth Gates was just 17 when he narrowly missed out on winning Pop Idol in 2002 - but it wasn't necessarily his singing that took off his career.
After he shot to fame with his popular rendition of Unchained Melody, it attracted the calling of Katie, with the pair famously having a one-night stand.
After their coming together, Katie claimed that she "launched Gareth Gates' career" by taking his virginity.
The 43-year-old, then 23, was six months pregnant at the time with Dwight Yorke's son, Harvey.

She made a dig at the singer in an extract from her book Harvey and Me - and she certainly didn't hold back.
Reflecting on some of the photoshoots she did, she wrote: "I should have thought, 'Katie, put it away. You're pregnant - no one wants you.'
"But then again, hello Gareth Gates! He wanted a bit of Pricey - even when I was six months pregnant.
"He denied losing his virginity to me at first, but once he finally admitted it, wasn't that when his career started? Anyway, swiftly moving on..."

Back in 2016, Gareth opened up about the impact their night together had on him, and even revealed that it made him to want to quit fame.
He told Magazine: “It wasn’t too long after that I decided to take a break from the industry.
“It wasn’t the reason I wanted to be a pop star. There are stars out there for the wrong reason. I was to be recognised for my talent.”
And now, as revealed by Peter on his Instagram, the Aussie will perform his Gareth's hometown of Bradford alongside an array of fellow popstars.
Peter and Gareth will be performing their own separate sets, with their own music to fans in attendance.
Other star names on the bill at The Big Pop Festival - happening at Odsal Stadium in September - include A1 and Liberty X.
