Can Cold Feet’s Jenny convince Karen to commit to her new beau – or will David scupper her plans?
Will Karen's ex-husband get in the way of her new romance with Eddie as his own marriage reaches crisis point?
COLD Feet's Karen Marsden faces new relationship drama in Monday's episode - as ex-husband David threatens to put the kibosh on her new romance with Eddie.
The character - played by Hermoine Norris - has grown close to Eddie (Art Malik) in recent weeks, but is reluctant to put a label on their relationship.
Speaking to her friends Jenny Gifford (Fay Ripley) and Adam Williams (James Nesbitt) over breakfast, Karen was alarmed to hear Eddie had described her as his "girlfriend".
She said: "I haven't been anyone's girlfriend since about the age of 24.
"It's not like that, we're casual, we go out together, we enjoy each others company."
Adam points out Eddie clearly thinks its more serious than that, and Karen admits she had to make up an excuse to stop her beau from staying the weekend.
She added: "I'm not ready for him to be sharing my sock drawer," before insisting she was also worried about her daughters reactions to her new romance.
However Jenny isn't buying her friends comments, and asks how long it's been since she was in a relationship.

As Karen concedes it's been the "best part of five years", Jenny continues: "I think that's why you're holding back, I think you've got too used to being on your own.
"Maybe it's time for you to take the leap?"
But as Karen contemplates her friends words and taking things with Eddie to the next level, a visit from ex-husband David (Robert Bathurst) threatens to bring everything crashing down.
Trying to prove his innocence after being accused of property fraud, David realises he may have his work cut out when his own wife, divorce lawyer Robyn (Lucy Robinson) turns against him, but will Karen be able to offer him the support he needs?
Elsewhere, Adam has relationship worries of a different kind when his wife becomes increasingly distant.
Pete (John Thomson) notes that breakfast in bed is always a winner with Jen but that might not be so easy when the recipient is over six thousand miles away.
So there he has it, a romantic breakfast over Skype. What could possibly go wrong?
