Full list of this year’s X Factor contestants that forgot to mention they’ve been on the show before
X FACTOR's Six Chair Challenge may seem like the biggest moment of the contestants lives so far - but it'll only bring back bittersweet memories for a handful of hopefuls.
As Simon Cowell's girls and Nicole Scherzinger's boys fight to secure a seat during Saturday's episode, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal 11 of the 23 contestants from the two categories have secretly starred on the show before.
Despite the majority of their first attempts remaining hidden during the audition process - we recap their former shots at finding fame on the ITV favourite.
Faye Horne
Faye caught Simon’s eye during her flirty audition earlier this series, but that wasn’t the first time she’d faced the judges.
The Sun Online revealed how Warwickshire based singer, 24, has undergone a sexy transformation since first taking to the X Factor stage back in 2011.
Caitlyn Vanbeck
She’s currently firm favourite to win according to the bookies – but Caitlyn, 22, didn’t have much luck after failing to progress further than Six Chair Challenge in 2015.
Talking about Saturday's ep, she said: "It was terrifying like The Hunger Games."
Jordina Miller
Having first auditioned on the show in 2008 with her siblings as group 4 Instinct, the 22-year-old veterinary call centre worker is hoping to go all the way as a solo star eight years later.
During Saturday's show she belts out Amazing Grace for the judges.
Ellie Rose
The 18-year-old singer first faced the judges in 2014 and regularly updated her friends and family online during the process - her first audition was never aired.
In May 2014, she wrote: “For those that didn’t know, I got through to X Factor.”
Gifty Louise
Gifty, 20, failed to progress further than Boot Camp during last year’s show and this time round she’s feeling the pressure.
Talking about her previous attempt, Gifty admits: “To do it all over again is really nerve-wracking. It’s a lot of pressure.”
Emily Middlemas
Emily first caught the attention of show bosses in 2014 while still a school girl, and now the 17-year-old is determined to make it further than the Judges Houses’ stage of the show this time round.
Viewers will watch the songstress sing Cydi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun on Saturday.
Mike Hough
Mike may have impressed Simon during his audition last weekend, but The Sun Online can reveal the pair haven’t always got on.
After his attempt at finding fame on the show in 2009 failed to progress further than Boot Camp, Mike later hit out at Simon who told him “he’d never be good enough.”
Niall Sexton
Not only did Niall, 22, try his luck on the ITV show in 2011 – but he later accused them of trying to “hide” him and favouring fellow Irish contestant Janet Devlin.
He previously raged on Twitter: “I was on UK X Factor – but got hidin as Janet Devlin is Irish to. So they hid me [sic].”
Conor McGinty
Having already made it to tonight’s Six Chair Challenge, 21-year-old photographic assistant Conor has beat his attempt at making it last year where he was eliminated at Boot Camp.
He's hoping his version of U2's Every Breaking Wave will be enough to secure him a spot in the next round.
Luca Valenti
The 17-year-old has plenty of experience with the X Factor, having previously starred in the Italian version last year.
With an army of fans already, the singer boasts over 35,000 likes on Facebook.
